Cuivre is a lamp that reshapes the arbitrary nature of old cable wires,specifically copper, by adaptively rendering them as an aesthetic quality within light rather than as a rudimentary form of wire infrastructure. By utilising their chaotic and irregular charm as a form of lamp shade, Cuivre attempts to construct a space that merges the ambient feeling of quietness and intimacy, urging individuals to reflect upon the utilitarian form of copper wire in a recontextualized state of refinement and beauty.
